Following the canonization of the Hebrew Bible, a vast ocean of rabbinic literature known as halacha (legal writings) and aggadah (non-legal literature and lore) were written down and began to appear in works known as Midrash and Talmud. What are these great works and who are their authors? Together we will explore the answers. No background is necessary, only a willingness to take a guided tour into the waters.
